b. Root of the problem: elaborate on the cause of the problem.
c. Explanatory factors: highlight the relationship between variable X and variable Y.
d. Urgency/reason for research: justify the necessity of the study.
e. Novelty:
- Findings from previous research: summarize relevant findings.
- Differences with previous research: identify distinctions.
- Contribution of findings to knowledge: emphasize the contribution.
f. Thesis statement: articulate the author's assumptions concerning quantitative research.
g. Research purposes: clearly state the objectives of the research.
6. Methods. Methods describe in detail the methods used in the study, including: (i) research design, location, and time; (ii) sampling technique; (iii) procedures for data collection; (iv) measurement and assessment of variables; and (v) data analysis. The Methods section employs subheadings, ensuring a structured presentation of the study's methodologies.
7. Results. The Results section is expected to present the study's findings, utilizing tables, graphs, or figures when applicable. Repetition of data presented in these visual elements should be avoided, and instead, the text should provide explanations or elaborations on the tabular data. The writing is organized into subchapters corresponding to research variables and analysis. References or citations should not be included in this section.
8. Discussion. The Discussion section is tasked with establishing the relevance between the results and the field of investigation or hypotheses, substantiated by appropriate references. It is essential to avoid redundancy with the results already presented. The discussion should include:
a. argumentation of research findings,
b. explanation/elucidation of the meaning of the findings,
c. comprehensive analysis of the findings in connection with relevant theories or previous research results, and
d. concluding paragraph succinctly addressing the limitations of the research findings (2–3 sentences).
9. Conclusion and Suggestion. This section is divided into two paragraphs. The first paragraph summarizes the research conclusions, addressing the research objectives and highlighting the contributions and implications of the findings. The authors are also expected to use at least 2 references from articles already published in the Jurnal Ilmu Keluarga dan Konsumen. Ensure that every source mentioned in the manuscript is listed in the References section. This ensures all citations are properly documented. The author should not cite a citation and not use anonym references.

Reference citations in the text: Holden (2022) or (Holden, 2022); Sharma and Sonwaney (2021) or (Sharma & Sonwaney, 2021); Zevalkink, Riksen-Walraven, and Bradley (2021) or (Zevalkink, Riksen-Walraven, & Bradley, 2021); Eisberg et al. (2022) or (Eisberg et al., 2022). If a statement is supported by multiple sources, the in-text citations can be combined in one parenthesis. Order the sources alphabetically and separate them with a semicolon. When citing multiple works from the same author, list the years of publication separated by a comma: (Brown, 2009; Porter, 2004; Smith, 2015, 2017).
References should be listed alphabetically by the author(s) last name(s) and the year of publication. JIKK has adopted the referencing style from APA 7th edition. Some examples of references are presented below.

Format Figures and Tables
Number and title of the picture must be written below the image, while the number and title of the table must be written above the table. It is recommended that the tables and graphs are not in the form of pictures (images). Try creating tables and graphs in Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Word. In English, decimals indicated by a point and not a comma (e.g., 20.5 cm instead of 20,5 cm) and the number of thousands/millions are indicated by a comma, not a point (e.g., Rp20,500.00 instead of Rp20.000,00); In Bahasa Indonesia, decimal is indicated by a comma and not a point (e.g., 20,5 cm instead of 20.5 cm) and the number of thousands/millions are indicated by a point, not a comma (e.g., Rp20.500,00 instead of Rp20,000.00); Large numbers can be replaced with the title word (e.g., 2 million instead of 2.000.000).

Mathematical Model Format
For convenience in reading the journal, it is recommended to limit the number of mathematical models written in the article; for the case of extensive use of mathematical models, place it in the appendix (appendix). It is recommended to use Microsoft Equation Models for the equations and mathematical symbols. The units of measurement suggested are the metric system (e.g., m, m2, liters, and °C). The word percent is expressed by the character %, written without spaces from the preceding number (e.g., 20.0%).
