STRATEGI PENGUATAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN EKOWISATA SITU GUNUNG DI TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG GEDE PANGRANGO
Abstract
Community participation is a crucial component in the management of ecotourism. Enhancing community participation is essential to increase the community's role in ecotourism activities, thereby improving community welfare by balancing ecological, social, and economic factors. This study aims to formulate strategies to strengthen community participation in the management of ecotourism in Situ Gunung. The analysis methods used include the analysis of community participation levels, stakeholder analysis, and SWOT analysis. The level of community participation in the management and development of Situ Gunung ecotourism falls into the moderate category. There are 22 stakeholders involved, consisting of 3 as key players, 12 as subjects, 5 as context setters, and 2 as crowd. The results of the study indicate that strengthening community participation can be effectively achieved by using strategies that maximize opportunities while optimizing strengths, such as intensive training and the establishment of tourism markets.
