Pengembangan Ilmu Pangan Menggunakan Systematic Review Dan Meta-Analisis

Abstract
Penggunaan sistematik review dan meta-analisis dalam pengembangan ilmu pangan adalah suatu hal yang baru. Di era keberlimpahan informasi seperti saat ini dimana publikasi ilmiah sudah sangat banyak, baik jurnal nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal internasional bereputasi maka penganalisisan terhadap data tersebut untuk menghasilkan informasi baru yang berguna menjadi penting dan menarik. Kajian literatur terkait meta-analisis pangan dilakukan dengan analisis komprehensif jurnal-jurnal meta-analisis pangan, analisis pada database scopus, dan analisis bibliometrik menggunakan software publish or perish serta VOSviewer menggunakan kata kunci “meta-analysis food science” menggunakan database ilmiah Crossref, Google Scholar, dan Scopus untuk selanjutnya dilakukan analisis perkembangan terupdate penggunaan meta-analisis pangan. Ruang lingkup analisis dilakukan pada metode yang digunakan dan aplikasi penggunaanya pada empat pilar ilmu teknologi pangan, yaitu kimia pangan, biokimia pangan, mikrobiologi pangan, dan rekayasa proses pangan. Hasilnya meta-analisis yang digunakan dapat menggunakan analisis ringkasan data, penggunaan nilai rata-rata disertai nilai standar deviasi dan jumlah ulangan, dan penggunaan nilai rata-rata saja. Meta-analisis pangan sangat powerful untuk digunakan dalam penulisan jurnal baik nasional maupun internasional di bidang pangan dengan tingkat keberterimaan yang tinggi dan aseptansi yang relatif cepat.
