Desain Database Pengolahan Data Penjualan dr. Basoo

Abstract

In the era of rapid technological development, the use of data processing technology such as Microsoft Access has been applied in various sectors, one of which is in SMEs (Small and Medium Industries), which has had an impact in the form of increasing business efficiency. Microsoft Access as a Database Management System (DBMS) is used to process transactions, display information, and make data processing more effective in related businesses. This research was conducted at dr. Basoo, one of the SMEs engaged in the culinary field in the form of a packaged meatball production business, using a qualitative approach in the form of interviews with the business owner. The design of the dr. Basoo database uses the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Query features in Microsoft Access which are developed from several tables: Goods Data Table, Supplier Table, Consumer Table, Transaction Table, and Detailed Transaction Table. This design produces new information in the form of income calculations which are processed using query features and utilizing form features. Database design dr. Basoo aims to develop this business through the use of technological advances starting from processing operational data. Therefore, data-based applications in Microsoft Access are considered effective in solving this problem.
