Implementasi Eco-Integrated Farming System pada Kelompok Ternak Desa Limbangan, Sukabumi dalam Mendukung Pertanian Berkelanjutan

Food availability is an important point in efforts to increase community productivity. The problems faced by the agricultural sector include the suboptimal increase in the productivity of agricultural, livestock, and fishery production, which results in fluctuating food availability, especially animal-based food, in Limbangan Village. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve the productivity of the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors through technical guidance in the application of the eco-integrated farming system. The activities were conducted in Limbangan village, Sukaraja district, Sukabumi regency, from June to December 2023. The activities conducted include technical presentations on sheep farming, training and establishment of a collection garden for livestock feed in the Limbangan village livestock group area, training on composting sheep feces waste, and training and assistance in livestock feed management through the cultivation of green fodder integrated with tilapia farming in an aquafodder installation. As a measure of the achievement of the activities, interviews and questionnaire filling were conducted with the participants, as well as the recording of the productivity performance of the green fodder and grass that had been planted. The collected data is processed descriptively. Through this activity, it demonstrates significant benefits in terms of knowledge transfer from academics to the community, introducing advancements in agricultural technology, with various types of livestock feed that have been introduced in the training, enabling farmers to assist in independent feed provision, and supporting food security.
