Abstract

The aim of this research was to provide a general overview of the characteristics and achievements of performance certified lecturer, determine the factors that affect the performance of certified lecturer, classify certified lecturer based on these factors, and compare the professor and lecturer nonprofessor’s performance. Descriptive analysis is used to see a general overview of the characteristics and achievements of certified lecturer performance while the CART method is used to determine factors that affect the performance of certified lecturer and classify of them. Amounting to 79% of certified lecturers in Indonesia has been implementing its obligations. Mean total credits achievements of lecturer per year amounted to 31.86 while the average for each area of 16.32 credits for education, 8.83 credits for research, as well as 6.72 credits for community service. In general, the factors that affect are the factors of individual lecturers themselves, namely the field of science, educational background, functional, and age.
