Some factors contributed to that thing, like residential and toll road development. There were some instruments to mitigate, such as Boyolali Regional Law Number 17/2016 and Boyolali Regional Law Number 8/2019. Despite being regulated, the enforcement of these regulations has been suboptimal, leading to changes in agricultural land use to non-agricultural purposes in several areas. Monitoring the law is important to see if it goes well or not. This can be utilized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with overlay method and on-screen digitization of SPOT-6 imagery. Besides that, Remote Sensing analyzed land use trends using multi-temporal SPOT-6 images of 2018 and 2022. This study aims to determine the extent of land use in 2018 and 2022 as well as to determine the suitability of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land to land use and also evaluate the suitability of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land to the Regional Spatial Plan. Results showed that in 2018, the largest land use class was residential areas, covering 2,437.77 hectares, followed by rice fields and moorland, which covered 1,109.06 and 2,205.74 hectares, respectively. By 2022, residential areas had expanded to 2,625.57 hectares, while rice fields and moorland covered 1,130.54 and 2,145.07 hectares, respectively. Based on the overlay method, the suitability analysis revealed that Sustainable Food Agricultural Land matched 90.47% of land use in 2018 and 90.04% in 2022. Meanwhile, the suitability between the Sustainable Food Agriculture Land and Regional Spatial Plan amounted to 81.03%.
Fauzan Iqbal Harpudiansyah, Dessy Apriyanti Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning (Jurnal Perencanaan Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perdesaan) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/55033 Tue, 25 Feb 2025 23:43:25 +0700 Analisis Perubahan Ruang Terbuka Hijau dengan Citra Resolusi Tinggi di Kota Depok https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/52470
The massive changes in land cover in Depok City, which serves as a buffer zone for the capital city of Jakarta, have led to a decrease in Green Open Space (GOS) due to the high demand for land for development. To monitor changes in GOS land cover and obtain accurate analysis results, appropriate tools, data, and methods are required. This study employed remote sensing and GIS techniques to assess GOS changes in Depok City between 2013 and 2021. The tools used included ArcGIS 10.8, Google Earth Pro, and a set of computers. The study utilized high-resolution Spot 6 and 7 satellite imagery with analysis conducted using the supervised classification method and the maximum likelihood algorithm. The results of this study produced land cover maps with very high accuracy, where the overall accuracy and kappa coefficient were 96% and 93% in 2013, and 97% and 92% in 2021, respectively. The classification results revealed a significant decrease in GOS over the past eight years, with a reduction of 20.2% of the total area, resulting in GOS coverage of only 31.3% or 6,239 ha in 2021. Most of the GOS reduction was caused by the expansion of built-up areas, which increased by 4,857 ha. Other changes were observed in water bodies 99 ha and open land 73 ha. The GOS analysis in Depok City using the supervised classification method on high-resolution Spot imagery proved to be highly accurate compared to previous studies that used Landsat 8 OLI imagery with the NDVI method.
Syahbani Putra Gunadi, Syartinilia, Andrea Emma Pravitasari Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning (Jurnal Perencanaan Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perdesaan) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/52470 Tue, 25 Feb 2025 23:19:20 +0700 Efektivitas Implementasi Program Bantuan Rumah Tidak Layak Huni bagi Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah di Kabupaten Agam https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/57826
Law Number 1 of 2011 recognizes the basic rights of every Indonesian citizen to have a decent place to live. Agam Regency itself has challenges such as uninhabitable houses and slums that arise due to economic problems, unemployment, and low income. To overcome this, the government implemented a home improvement assistance program for low-income communities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Uninhabitable House Improvement Assistance Program (RTLH) in Agam Regency, especially for low-income communities. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, which explores the suitability of targets, benefits, desired changes, program policies, implementation and supervision, and availability of resources. Data were obtained through interviews with beneficiaries, the government, and related stakeholders. The results of the study show that the RTLH improvement assistance program has been well realized from 2019 to 2022, with 2,045 housing units receiving assistance. The RTLH policy is designed to meet the needs of low-income people and involve them in the renovation process. However, there are still challenges faced in the form of budget constraints, uneven distribution of materials, and supervision dominated by the government as well as social jealousy among the community.
Sucia Angelia Tika Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning (Jurnal Perencanaan Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perdesaan) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/57826 Tue, 25 Feb 2025 23:24:20 +0700 Does Migration Lead to Income Diversification in Rural Areas? A case Study in Cilacap Regency, Indonesia https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/55706
Migration plays a crucial role in the income augmentation efforts of numerous Asian nations, although its effect on income diversification is still uncertain. This study observed 168 households with 78 migrant households in four villages in Binangun and Nusawungu districts of Cilacap Regency, Indonesia to support their livelihoods and how remittance and income is distributed among them. The data was analyzed by Binary Logistic Regression analysis a statistical technique utilized for modeling the association between a dependent variable and independent variables, family size, land area, livestock count, remittances, total income, total investment, and migrant status. The results demonstrate substantial differences in income between households with migrants and those without migrants, highlighting the vital impact of remittances and the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on developing rural economies. The results of statistics showed that remittances and total income had p-values of 0.000, highlighting their crucial role in the process of diversifying livelihoods. The limited impact of livestock suggests that it serves as a supplementary asset, whereas the lack of relevance of family size, land area, and investment implies that these factors may not be the main factors driving diversity in the research area. These findings enhance the overall comprehension of rural livelihoods by illustrating the diverse functions that various forms of capital have in determining household strategy. Additional study is required to enhance our comprehension of the interaction among remittances, migration, and livelihood strategies, establishing a basis for data-driven policies that promote economic resilience and expansion in rural regions.
Cahyo Wisnu Rubiyanto, Fanny Widadie, Rosalia Natalia Seleky, Ikhsan Fajar Alamsyah Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning (Jurnal Perencanaan Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perdesaan) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/55706 Tue, 25 Feb 2025 23:27:45 +0700 Evaluation and Development Strategy of The Minapolitan Area in Pasir Sakti Sub-District, Lampung Timur Regency https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/55267
The minapolitan concept aimed to accelerate Indonesian rural development and reduce the inequality of development between urban-rural and urban disparity. One of the cultivation-based minapolitan areas in Indonesia is in Pasir Sakti Sub-District, East Lampung Regency with the Vaname shrimp commodity. The problems in this minapolitan area are including the inefficiency of pond farming management, restrained land for pond farmers so it difficult to obtain labor for the community, limited market information, unstable production quantities sometimes fail to fulfill market demand, and microfinancing institutions aren't working properly. This research aims to evaluate the program and set the next development strategy in the Pasir Sakti Minapolitan Area. The research was undertaken through several questionnaire surveys of pond farmers and the experts, followed by discussions with some experts to analyze the factors that affect the development of this minapolitan area with Internal Factors Evaluation (IFE) and External Factors Evaluation (EFE) Analysis, and set development strategies using The Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis. This research results indicate that the minapolitan area program is 84.848% in synergy with existing regional policies, the environment evaluation of the minapolitan area is 85.82% feasible, the institutional support evaluation for minapolitan area is 75.42% feasible, and the IFE analysis results in a score of 2.63 and EFE results with a score of 3.03. These values exceed the average score of 2.5, which indicates that the internal condition of the region is not deteriorating and is ready to take advantage of opportunities and overcome threats. The strategic objectives for the development of the minapolitan area are to improve the quality and participation of stakeholders, increase supporting facilities, anticipate environmental damage planning and law enforcement, and improve cultivation systems.
Ni Putu Rekha Puspita, Ernan Rustiadi, Lala M. These factors are making the structure of the system within which decisions are made. Since the policies and decisions adopted in rural plans affect the process of development in the rural areas, the role of them has been considered in the future of rural areas in Iran. Different scenarios and options have been suggested with the use of GIS to clarify the future outcome of these decisions. This study selected three rural areas around the city of Varzegan to consider the effect of both internal and external factors in the future of these areas. Internal factors directly influenced by the independent variable (Population Growth Rate suggested in rural plans), while external factor is beyond the control of it and affects it. Scenario sets shows that the rural area’s sustainability is affected by the population growth rate (actor of the structure), the damages in agricultural lands and employment composition. This fact is not considered in rural plans of Iran because of the need for residential areas due to reverse migration.
Lachin Samadi Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning (Jurnal Perencanaan Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perdesaan) http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/52074 Tue, 25 Feb 2025 23:38:42 +0700 Strategi Pengembangan Pariwisata Kawasan Geopark Meratus Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Studi Kasus: Kecamatan Piani Kabupaten Tapin https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/p2wd/article/view/58229
Tourism has an important role in regional development.
