Panduan Penulis

The authors should submit their manuscripts via this OJS platform.
Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin your submission.
  1. Articles are unpublished results of research or literature review in the field of communication for development or communication for social change. The use of communication for development or social change context is a MUST.
  2. Articles are written in Indonesian or English with the abstract written in Indonesian and English.
  3. Articles in Indonesian should follow Pedoman Umum Ejaaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI), while English manuscripts should not contain any grammar mistakes. We highly recommend using English professional proofreader.
  4. Articles are written in A4 paper format with right, top, and under 2 cm margins and left 3 cm margins. The font is Times New Roman 11 pt, 1 space. The submission should be between 5,000-7,000 words (including references, tables, and pictures, but NOT including bibliography). Details can be seen in the journal template.
  5. All articles must have an abstract with maximum 200 words, followed by three to five relevant keywords.
  6. Articles are arranged systematically: Pendahuluan, Metode Penelitian, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Penutup, dan Daftar Pustaka (For Indonesian Articles) and Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References (For English Articles).
  7. Articles are sent as electronic files (doc or docx format) through the OJS.
  8. Articles must have at least 25 references, 80% of the citation must be from scholarly journals, 80% of the citation must be published within the last 10 years.
  9. The references section follows the APA referencing style 7th edition format. Only references cited in the manuscripts are listed in the reference section. We only accept articles that alreadys use citation management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc.
  10. The authors must filled out Cover Letter with when submitting articles. The Cover Letter template is provided here.

The following is an example of writing a bibliography in the APA 7th edition format.

Anda harus membaca dan menyatakan bahwa Anda sudah melengkapi persyaratan berikut ini sebelum melanjutkan.

  • Naskah belum pernah diterbitkan sebelumnya, dan tidak sedang dalam pertimbangan untuk diterbitkan di jurnal lain (atau sudah dijelaskan dalam Komentar kepada Editor).
  • File naskah dalam format dokumen OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, atau RTF.
  • Naskah diketik dengan teks 1 spasi; font 12; menggunakan huruf miring, bukan huruf bergaris bawah (kecuali alamat URL); dan semua ilustrasi, gambar, dan tabel diletakkan dalam teks pada tempat yang diharapkan, bukan dikelompokkan tersendiri di akhir naskah.
  • Referensi yang dapat diakses online telah dituliskan URL-nya.
  • Pengetikan naskah dan sitasi mengikuti gaya selingkung yang disyaratkan dalam Panduan Penulis
