Available from: https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jtep/article/view/%20In%20this%20study%20a%20calibration%20model%20with%20temperature%20compensation%20for%20%20%20leaf%20water%20potential%20%28LWP%29%20determination%20in%20tomato%20plants%20was%20successfully%20%20%20developed.%20A%20number%20of%20150%20tomato%20plants%20%28Lycopersicon%20esculentum%20ev.%20%20%20Momotaro%20T-93%29%20were%20used%20as%20samples.%20The%20plants%20were%20cultivated%20under%20same%20EC%20%20%20level%20%280.8%20dSm-1%29%20in%20%20%20Deep%20Flow%20Technique%20%28OFT%29%20using%20Wagner%26%23039%3Bs%20pot.%20For%20each%20leaf%2C%20the%20%20%20uon-plant%26quot%3B%20six%20spectral%20acquisitions%20from%20six%20positions%20were%20conducted.%20%20%20The%20measuring%20condition%20for%20spectral%20acquisitions%20was%2010%20ms%20for%20scanning%20time%20and%2050%20scans%20for%20%20%20averaging.%20Immediately%20after%20the%20lion%20plant%26quot%3B%20spectral%20acquisition%2C%20leaf%20%20%20was%20cut%20and%20its%20LWP%20value%20was%20measured%20using%20the%20pressure%20chamber%20method.%20The%20%20%20Partial%20Least%20Squares%20%28PLS%29%20Regression%20was%20used%20to%20develop%20a%20calibration%20model.%20The%20result%20showed%20that%20the%20best%20%20%20calibration%20model%20with%20temperature%20compensation%20was%20identified%20for%20the%20%20%20original%20spectra%20in%20the%20wavelength%20range%20of%20700-1040%20nm.%20This%20calibration%20%20%20model%20had%20R2%20%3D0.83%2C%20SEC%20%3D0.091%20and%20SEP%20%3D0.120.%20This%20calibration%20model%20resulted%20in%20low%20SEP%20and%20%20%20bias%20for%20prediction%20ofLWP%20%20%20for%20samples%20having%20temperature%2015%2C%2025%20and%2035%C2%B0C.%20This%20study%20has%20shown%20%20%20the%20superiority%20of%20using%20calibration%20model%20with%20temperature%20compensation%20to%20%20%20that%20without%20temperature%20compensation.%20This%20result%20opened%20the%20possibility%20%20%20ofusing%20NIR%20spectroscopy%20as%20a%20tool%20for%20nondestructive%20on-plant%20LWP%20%20%20determination%20on%20the%20field.%20%C2%A0%C2%A0Keywords%3A%20calibration%20model%2C%20temperature%20%20%20compensation%2C%20leaf%20water%20potential%2C%20pressure%20chamber%20method%2C%20on-plant%20%20%20spectral%20acquisition%2C%20on-plant%20LWP%20determination%20%C2%A0%C2%A0Diterima%3A%20%20%2010%20Mei%202007%3B%20Disetujui%3A%2015%20Agustus%202007%20%20%C2%A0%C2%A0%C2%A0%C2%A0%20%20
