Abstract

In today's rapidly developing technology era, the use of information technology, especially Microsoft Access as a Database Management System (DBMS), has helped Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in their business development. This technology has a significant impact on processing data, managing transactions, and improving operational efficiency. This study used a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques at Bani Cakes and Pastry. The use of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and Queries in Microsoft Access is used to design relationships between entities and generate relevant information, such as revenue calculations and sales performance. The implementation of Microsoft Access yielded positive results in managing Bani Cakes and Pastry's goods, sales, and revenue data. There are relationships between tables that allow holistic information retrieval. Forms such as Item Data Form, Supplier Form, Sales Form, and Revenue Form make it easier to use the database. The application of information technology, especially Microsoft Access, contributes significantly to the development of MSME businesses, such as Bani Cakes and Pastry. Information technology helps improve operational efficiency and manage data well.
