About the Journal

Jurnal Manajemen dan Organisasi (JMO) is a scientific publication media that contains articles in the field of management and organization with the scope of management of marketing, finance, human resources as well as production and operations. Jurnal Manajemen dan Organisasi is dedicated to encourage exchange of ideas between academics, practitioners, and government institutions in the fields of management and organization. This journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. Articles published in this journal present an objective analysis of management and organizational topics in academic perspectives in the form of research results, review of new management concepts and theories, as well as case studies paper.

Jurnal Manajemen dan Organisasi (JMO) was established with its first volume (Volume 1, Number 1) in 2010. JMO was granted p-ISSN (p-ISSN No. 2088-9372) on August 19th, 2011, and e-ISSN (e-ISSN No. 2527-8991) on June 1st, 2016. JMO was first granted its DOI number for its articles in December 2017. Along with the quality improvement, JMO has to convert the online journal system from OJS 2 to OJS 3 in February 2020.

JMO is a peer-reviewed journal that has been Accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE), Republic of Indonesia No.  B/1225/E5/E5.2.1/2020 which is valid for 5 (five) years since enacted in September 2022. Based on the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 79/E/KTP/2023, JMO was ranked 4 accredited (SINTA 4).

JMO committed to increase its' contribution to facilitate scientific publication in Indonesia. Hence, starting in 2022 we add one more edition within one year as March, June, September and December edition.

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Manajemen dan Organisasi (JMO) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal, focusing on publishing original research articles in the area of management and business. Topics that are covered in this journal include: human resource management, marketing management, production and operation management, financial and accounting management.

Author from academicians, researchers, practitioners, regulators, and public societies are welcome to disseminate their findings and thought through systematic writing using any relevant approach or research method.

Archiving Policy

JMO uses a free utility called the Public Knowledge Project's (PKP) PN Archiving Plugin. By automatically uploading articles into the PKP PN Archiving Service, this plugin helps to widely distribute and preserve JMO's scholarly materials, therefore facilitating the archiving process.
