Available at: https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jmht/article/view/%20%20%20%20%3Cp%20class%3D%22Default%22%20style%3D%22text-align%3Ajustify%3B%22%3E%3Cem%3EPathogenicity%20of%20Rhizoctonia%20solani%20was%20studied%20by%20evaluating%20the%20ability%20of%20the%20pathogen%20to%20attack%20several%20ages%20of%20Pinus%20merkusii%20and%20Acacia%20mangium%20seedlings.%20Results%20showed%20that%20R.%20solani%20attacked%20P.%20merkusii%20from%20seed%20stage%20up%20to%20seven%20week-old%20seedlings%2C%20while%20eight%20week-old%20ones%20were%20free%20from%20the%20pathogen%E2%80%99s%20attack.%20On%20A.%20mangium%2C%2016%20day-old%20seedlings%20were%20uninfected%20by%20R.%20solani%2C%20while%2012%20day-old%20ones%20were%20still%20attacked%20by%20the%20pathogen.%20Pathogenesis%20of%20R.%20solani%20was%20also%20studied%20by%20evaluating%20the%20activities%20of%20cellulolytic%20and%20pectolytic%20enzymes%20produced%20by%20the%20fungi%20and%20compared%20them%20with%20the%20activities%20of%20the%20same%20enzymes%20produced%20by%20Fusarium%20oxysporum.%20Result%20showed%20that%20R.%20solani%E2%80%99s%20cellulolytic%20enzymes%20activity%2C%20reflected%20by%20the%20activity%20of%20C1-cellulase%2C%20was%20lower%20compared%20with%20that%20of%20F.%20oxysporum.%20On%20the%20other%20hand%2C%20R.%20solani%20was%20more%20intensive%20degrading%20pectin%20medium%20than%20F.%20oxysporum%2C%20such%20phenomenon%20reflected%20higher%20activity%20of%20pectolytic%20enzymes%20activity%20of%20R.%20solani%20compared%20with%20that%20of%20F.%20oxysporum%3C%2Fem%3E.%3C%2Fp%3E%20%3Cp%20class%3D%22MsoNormal%22%20style%3D%22text-align%3Ajustify%3B%22%3E%3Cspan%20style%3D%22font-size%3A12pt%3Bline-height%3A115%25%3B%22%3E%C2%A0%3C%2Fspan%3E%3C%2Fp%3E (Accessed: 3May2024).
