Litter collection was carried out for 12 months in the three main mangrove constituent zones, the litter was then analyzed based on fraction and type. Litter production was then correlated with rainfall, ambient temperature, and humidity using a simple correlation coefficient. Linear correlations between monthly litter production of leaf, twig, fruit-flower fractions (reproductive fraction) of each mangrove species and monthly climate parameters (temperature, rainfall, and humidity) were calculated using Pearson's correlation p<0.01. The results showed that the litter production rate in the Teling Tombariri Mangrove of Bunaken National Park was highest for the type Sonneratia alba, followed by Rhizophora apiculata, and finally Bruguiera gymnorhiza. The largest litter fraction was the leaf component, followed by twigs and reproductive components (flowers and fruit), except in Sonneratia alba where the reproductive component fraction was higher than the twig component. Furthermore, the environmental factor that shows the strongest correlation with litter production is rainfall, and this applies to the three main types of Teling Tombariri mangroves.
Martina A. One step to reduce emissions is through the adoption of electric vehicle policies. The penetration rate of electric vehicles in China and Indonesia can differ due to the policy approach used. In this study, the analysis method is a bilateral comparative study with a literature review. Based on the results of the analysis, China has adopted an electric vehicle policy since 2001 accompanied by sustainable programs and incentives. Meanwhile, Indonesia has only focused on electric vehicles, especially battery-based electric motor vehicles since 2019. Through the market approach (demand and supply) and infrastructure approach, different policy conditions in China and Indonesia are obtained, and can be used as a benchmark for decision-making for the Indonesian government. The policy implications of the analysis are increasing monetary and non-monetary incentives for producers and consumers, increasing local government participation, and clarifying the steps to execute Indonesia's electric vehicle roadmap.
Muhammad Iqbal Al Qodri, Widyastutik Copyright (c) 2023 RISALAH KEBIJAKAN PERTANIAN DAN LINGKUNGAN: Rumusan Kajian Strategis Bidang Pertanian dan Lingkungan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/48350 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 TEKNOLOGI REKLAMASI LAHAN BEKAS TAMBANG NIKEL UNTUK MEMPERCEPAT KEBERHASILAN REKLAMASI https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/50866
Nickel is formed through the weathering of ultrabasic or ultramafic rocks originating from oceanic crust which is transferred to the surface of continental crust. This formation process took millions of years, starting when ultramafic rocks were exposed on the earth's surface. Nickel mining plays an important role in the electric vehicle battery industry and economy in Indonesia, but its impact on the environment often results in mined land with unique characteristics that is difficult to reclaim. Ex-mining land often has a Mg/Ca ratio higher than one. In addition, the soil on ex-nickel mining land is usually shallow and hydrophobic, making it difficult to absorb water. Reclamation of ex-mining land is the focus to restore, increase the soil's water absorption capacity and land productivity. With an approach to improving physical, chemical, and biological properties, reclamation technology includes the method of making planting holes measuring 60x60x60 cm, composting organic materials, and using Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) to increase the soil's water absorption capacity. In this context, reclamation technology is the key to accelerating the successful reclamation of ex-nickel mining land in a sustainable manner and optimizing the utilization of nickel mining resources in Indonesia.
Suwardi, Octaviana Randrikasari Copyright (c) 2023 RISALAH KEBIJAKAN PERTANIAN DAN LINGKUNGAN: Rumusan Kajian Strategis Bidang Pertanian dan Lingkungan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/50866 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 DETERMINAN PRODUKSI DAN ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHATANI CABAI MERAH: STUDI KASUS DESA TANJUNG IBUS KECAMATAN SECANGGANG KABUPATEN LANGKAT https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/51050
The commodity that has the potential to be produced by farmers in Tanjung Ibus Village is red chilies. Analysis of the determinants of red chili production is important as a policy recommendation to increase red chili production. The comparison of income and farming costs determines the feasibility of farming. Farming feasibility analysis is important to carry out in the development of red chilies. This research aims to analyze the determinants of production and feasibility of red chili farming in Tanjung Ibus Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The number of samples in this research was 42 farmers. This research uses the Cobb-Douglas production function analysis method and the B/C Ratio. The research results show that land, seeds, and fertilizer are production factors that significantly and positively influence red chili farming production. The B/C ratio value for red chili farming is 2.6, meaning that red chili farming in this study is feasible. The policy recommendations for this research are the establishment of a subsidy policy, fertilizer innovation with a combination of the use of chemical and non-chemical fertilizers, and assistance with tractor technology.
Putri Rahayu, Endang Sari Simanullang Copyright (c) 2023 RISALAH KEBIJAKAN PERTANIAN DAN LINGKUNGAN: Rumusan Kajian Strategis Bidang Pertanian dan Lingkungan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/51050 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 KOMPARASI DAN IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN DIGITALISASI PERTANIAN: PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jkebijakan/article/view/51083
The rapid advancement of digital technology brought significant opportunities and challenges to the digitization of the agricultural sector.
