Focus and Scope
Focus
Jurnal Hortikultura Indonesia (JHI), the official journal of the Indonesian Society for Horticulture, publishes primary research paper, review article, policy analysis and research notes and preliminary results in all areas of horticulture. Manuscripts could be written either in English or in Indonesia.
Scope
Jurnal Hortikultura Indonesia (JHI) covers horticulture in broad sense including plant production, genetic and plant breeding, plant physiology, plant ecology, plant biotechnology, modeling, landscape and garden horticulture, also seed science and technology.
Peer Review Process
The review process conducted double blind, where the identity of authors and reviewers are concealed. Information on their identity can only be granted with the consent of both sides.
Authors should propose a list of 3 names of prospective reviewers. Management may choose to invite them or not. Reviewers should have the Google Scholar or Scopus-ID or recorded as a corresponding author in this journal.
Reviewers may also be invited from journals published by major publishers. They must come from different institutions with authors. List of the reviewer updated on every edition.
Review prosess from initial submission to final decision on acceptance can be as little as 24 weeks.
Publication Frequency
Published three times a year: April, August, and December.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Jurnal Hortikultura Indonesia (JHI), is an official publication of the Indonesian Society for Horticulture, founded in 2010, first launched and published in National Seminar of Indonesian Horticulture, Udayana University – Bali at 25thNovember 2010.
