Rowokembu Village is one of villages in Wonopringgo Sub-district in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. It has dense population with limited agricultural land. Vegetable garden and fish farming in bucket are among simpler yet effective strategies for this typical society. This program aimed to empower local community through training on vegetable garden and fish farming in bucket for the members of PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) of Rowokembu. Training was given in the form of lecture and workshop. Changes on knowledge and perception was measured through pre-test and post-test. It was observed that the training managed to increase the knowledge, perception, and skills of the participants on developing vegetable garden and fish farming in bucket. The enthusiasm and participation, however, tend to decrease after training period. The fish showed high mortality rate presumably due to poor water condition, hot weather, the absence of aeration system, and improper feeding. The plants in the vegetable garden were attacked by pest. More intensive coaching/guidance was needed to ensure the sustainability of the program.
Harum FadhilatunnurM. Adil Danial FazaM.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on society, such as job losses, rising staples, and economic hardship. Prices of food needs that continue to increase and are not affordable have resulted in food problems, one of which is protein. One of the high-quality protein is protein from fish. Fish as a fishery commodity that is relatively easy to cultivate on a large industrial scale and household scale for food self-sufficiency is catfish (Clarias sp). The purpose of this activity is to add insight and knowledge of the community about budikdamber for food self-sufficiency. The method of implementing community service activities in Kampung Six is carried out by counseling and training methods on Budikdamber. In this training activity, a bucket with 40 liters of water and 20 catfish seeds was used. Maintenance was carried out for 60 days with ad satiation feeding three times a day. Observations were made on growth, survival and water quality. The results of the activity found that 93% of the community partners had understood about Budikdamber. Budikdamber maintenance by partner communities gets an absolute weight growth value of catfish of 14 g, catfish survival value of 75%, and 1 bunch of kale per bucket. Based on the results of this activity, it is hoped that there will be the provision of special land for Budikdamber as an example for people who want to develop in their respective yards.
Miska Sanda LembangRukisah RukisahJimmy CahyadiHeppi IromoAzis AzisNuril FarizahMuhammad AmienDiana MaulianawatiZainuddin ZainuddinAwaludin AwaludinBurhanuddin IhsanRicky FebrinaldyKartina KartinaSantria SantriaPatrice Sevania

https://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/j-agrokreatif/article/view/38216

Agricultural Innovation in the green revolution contains high ecological risk, so that eco-technology innovation is needed for the sustainability of agricultural productivity. Unfortunately, not all farmers know about of this innovation, including members of the Nanga-Nanga Makmur Farmers Group around the Kendari City Botanical Gardens. This Community Partnership Program aimed to: (i) increase the knowledge and skills of target farmers regarding the management of abundant organic waste around farmers' fields to be used as non-microbial biofertilizer products; and (ii) provide knowledge to target farmers about conducting soil quality testing as a reference for farmers to determine the dose of non-microbial biofertilizer on managed agricultural land by members of the farmer groups. The method applied to achieve this goal is to do incidental counseling through face-to-face activities, training activities through mentoring in plot demonstration actions. Data on the increasing knowledge and skills of farmers were recorded through photos during mentoring and pilot demonstrations and analyzed descriptively. The results of these activities have increased the knowledge and skills of farmers in evaluating soil fertility using KIT for soil analysis, and determining the need for organic matter and fertilizers. Partner farmers have been able and skilled to produce biochar, compost tea, and compost as non-microbial biofertilizer by utilizing liquid organic waste and organic solid waste. Farmers can to manage soil quality and plant health through the application of non-microbial biofertilizer to soil and plants. Farmers also have insight into pest/disease control through an eco-technology approach.
Laode Muhammad Harjoni KilowasidiRobiatul AdawiyahNur Isiyana Wianti

Coffee is one of the leading commodities in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. The coffee commodity is the backbone of the village community's economy, especially in the highlands of South Sumatra. One of them is Palak Tanah Village, Muara Enim Regency. The coffee commodity has been processed by farmers from generation to generation with an economic chain that still relies on tokeh (local collectors). Selling coffee beans that are still raw and unprocessed has no added value to the community's economic well-being. This condition because the rural community does not undertake product innovation for coffee commodities. Regarding this circumstance, our team tries to serve and empower through Coffee Processed Product Innovation Assistance in Tanah Palak Village, Muara Enim, South Sumatra. The aim of the assistance from the university is to encourage the successful realization of one product innovation per village for the village community.
The Thematic Community Service Program Domicile (KKNT) is a community service activity carried out in June–August 2021 in anticipation of the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity program is carried out using an online media approach and blended learning (a combination of online and field trips) to comply with health protocols according to circulars that have been set by the government. Several planned activities have been successfully implemented. With its various advantages and disadvantages, the KKNT has provided suitable lessons for implementing The Thematic Community Service Program Domicile. The results of the evaluation with a comparative descriptive approach starting from the planning process and implementing activities show that the implementation of the Thematic Community Service Program Domicile in the Covid-19 pandemic condition is still possible to be carried out by taking into account the readiness of several things, such as communication technology, information technology capabilities owned by students and partners, awareness of partners, and the ability of The Thematic Community Service Program Domicile students in compiling training/counseling content.
Eko Sri WiyonoDea Amanda NoventriDeca FebriantikaDina Putri DermawanArcahya Dinda KasihannisaSekar Ayu KhairunnisaMelianti MeliantiAkhmad Muhriz HaqiqiKarina Rachma SuryaniShafira Nur SadrinaSanti SejatiKhoirunnisa Rizki Dwi JayatiShella Putri Intan Sabak AjiFadmiar Nibras AssilmiKoharudin KoharudinJuni Viona NurayuniShandathyana NisabillahShella ShellaDeni PebriansyahNurhidayat NurhidayatAlfi Alfi

This Community Service Program (PKM) is implemented based on a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Madura Islamic University and East Pademawu Village. The coaching program carried out is related to landscape learning materials. The purpose of providing landscape design materials for East Pademawu BUMDes is to improve landscape design insight and skills, to optimize the function and beauty and role of local village education parks so that they can support BUMDes administrators towards independent villages. Service activities in the form of providing materials and training followed by distributing questionnaires (based on a Likert scale whose score has been determined) to measure the level of achievement of socialization and training carried out. The location for the design is the backyard of the East Pademawu Village Hall office. The results of the participants' assessment of the benefits of the training through observation sheets showed an increase in the benefits, soft skills of BUMDes participants and the quality of local village facilities and infrastructure with a percentage of 83%. Participants showed enthusiasm and activity in the good category and agreed on the educational park landscape plan that had been optimally designed on village land. However, for mastery of material, creativity and conveying ideas, participants fall into the sufficient category so that there is a need for guidance and retraining which is based on the approval of cooperation between partner members and the garden landscape design team of the Madura Islamic University so that periodic guidance for BUMDes can still be carried out. The shortcoming that still needs to be considered for participants is a sense of design which can be overcome and minimized by broadening their horizons and actively joining the landscape design community.
Iswahyudi IswahyudiMarchel Putra GarfansaYenni Arista Cipta Ekalaturrahmah
