Abstract

Key performance indicators (KPIs) are indicators used to report progress towards delivery on factors identified as critical to the success of an organization’s goals and objectives. In a progressive environment, KPIs can also serve as tools for change, providing input into management process that will assist in bringing about sustainable performance improvements. The KPIs selected must reflect the organization's goals, they must be key to its success, and they must be measurable. Key performance indicators usually are long-term considerations for an organization.In general, this research was done to reveal the key performance indicators for developing of integrated tuna fishing in North Sulawesi and especially to get the clear measurement and also to give the information for government to make regulation. This research is based on focus group discussion (FGD) method with qualitative approach. The focus group is the group that discussed the specifically and structure case and has procedure and time frame. The indicators consist of economic, financial social, ecological and government dimensions, both in national level and in fishery sector.
