    Forestry Land Reform in Indonesia: The Paradoxes

    Indonesia's forestry sector currently controls 2/3 of Indonesia's land area (equal to 130.68 million hectares), in which as much as 60 million hectares are allocated for national development activities. However, this sector's contributions to the Indonesian GDP were 0.64%, while the agricultural sector (with a total land area of around 8 million ha) can contribute 9.97% to GDP.
